Bulletins and reporting placed landfall between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam, south of Yanam. Sources did not give a uniform time for its completion: several still described a slow landfall process during the morning.

India's weather service warned of intense rain and strong winds in coastal Andhra Pradesh and southern Odisha. Local reporting described uprooted trees and blocked roads.

The forecast of weakening inland does not mean rain and flooding risks have ended. The sources consulted do not establish a consolidated damage tally.
