Your data, your choices

Privacy policy

This page explains data processing when you read Moojaz and, separately, when you use an editorial account.

Updated :

When you read the site

Public pages can be read without an account. The server receives connection information including the IP address and HTTP request. Moojaz’s configured technical logs record the IP address, date, requested path, response status and processing times for operation, security and troubleshooting.

Audience measurement is optional and based on your consent. Once accepted, Google Analytics processes measured pages and interactions, browser identifiers and technical device information. These data should not be assumed anonymous. Cookie lifetime and data retention inside Google Analytics are separate periods.

Editorial accounts and editorial assistant

Accounts are created by an authorised person. Stored data include the name, email address, role, selected language, authentication data and sessions. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

Content changes and sensitive actions are recorded so they can be attributed. Assistant instructions, responses and work results are retained for tracking and continuation. When the assistant is used, instructions and necessary content are processed by the configured AI services, including OpenAI. This editorial processing is separate from visitor audience measurement.

These data support requested features, access management and publication security. Do not include unnecessary personal information or secrets in instructions or content intended for publication.

Recipients and transfers

Depending on the purpose, data are accessible to authorised publisher staff, the hosting provider, relevant technical providers and, for accepted measurement, Google. Published content is available to readers; account information and work conversations are not intended to be public.

Some providers, including Google and AI services, may process data in other countries. Locations, legal grounds and safeguards must be specified and checked by the publisher in the information below. Displaying this page does not validate these transfers.

Retention and security

Confirmed retention periods for logs, accounts, editorial conversations and measurement data appear below. Archiving a work item does not delete it. Backups and applicable retention requirements must also be considered.

Access controls and HTTPS protect the service, although no system can guarantee absolute security. Refusing optional cookies does not remove technical processing essential to site access and security.

Your rights and requests

Contact the data controller to ask about your data, request access, correction or deletion and, where applicable law provides for them, exercise objection, restriction or portability rights. Proportionate identity checks may be required; do not send identity documents without being asked.

You can withdraw audience measurement consent at any time through “Manage my cookies”. Depending on your situation, you can also contact the competent data protection authority, including the CNDP in Morocco or a European authority such as the CNIL.
