Where things stand

As of 28 October 2026, a Form S-1 is public; price, share count and listing date remain unset.

Anthropic files for an IPO without setting a share price

Anthropic filed its Form S-1 with the US securities regulator on 26 October 2026, seeking a Nasdaq listing under ANT. Filing does not mean its public share sale has begun.

Neither the price range nor the number of shares to be offered has been set. The prospectus remains preliminary: securities cannot be sold before the registration becomes effective.

The Claude developer reports $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026, compared with $4.6 billion for all of 2025, and $9 billion in infrastructure spending during that half-year. These figures show the scale of its business and computing requirements; they establish neither the proceeds of the offering nor its final valuation.
