Dubai taxi operators announce five-year Hala agreement extension
Dubai Taxi Company, National Taxi and Hala announced on 28 October 2026 that they are extending their agreement for five years for taxi bookings through the Careem app.
According to their statement, more than 7,700 taxis from the two operators, excluding the airport fleet, will be available through Hala. This is the two companies’ contribution to the platform, rather than its entire network.
The partners report nearly 120 million bookings since their cooperation began in 2019. These are company-reported figures. The renewal concerns digital access to taxis and does not announce the introduction of additional vehicles.
