Egypt: export council reports 23% growth in paper and packaging exports
Egypt’s Printing, Packaging and Paper Export Council reported on 28 October 2026 exports of $867 million for January–September, compared with $707 million a year earlier.
Packaging accounts for $545.6 million, followed by paper at $295.2 million and printing and books at $26.6 million, according to the council’s figures carried by Egyptian media.
These are export values reported by the sector body. The announced 23% increase therefore does not, on its own, measure changes in physical sales volumes.
