Danone sales rise 4%, driven mainly by prices

Danone reported third-quarter sales of €7.233 billion on 28 October 2026, up 4% on a like-for-like basis. The French food group maintained its annual targets.

Pricing contributed 3.6 percentage points to like-for-like growth, compared with 0.4 points from volume and product mix. Sales growth therefore mainly reflects higher prices, with a more limited contribution from volume/mix.

In its release, Danone reported like-for-like growth of 3.9% in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, 4.4% in the Americas and 3.6% in Asia-Pacific. It flagged a difficult season for its Mizone water brand in China.

For 2026, Danone still targets like-for-like sales growth of 3% to 5%, with recurring operating income growing faster than sales. Those targets remain forecasts.
