Samsung Electro-Mechanics reports quarterly operating profit of 691 billion won
Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on 28 October 2026 that third-quarter operating profit reached 691 billion won, up 165.5% year on year. Revenue was approximately 3.763 trillion won.
The company attributes its performance to components for artificial intelligence data centres, semiconductor substrates and certain automotive applications. Revenue grew 30.3% year on year, according to preliminary figures reported by Yonhap and Aju Press.
Multilayer ceramic capacitors and chip package substrates are central to the business. The group says it intends to expand capacity and shipments of higher-value products.
Management expects strong demand for AI components in the fourth quarter. That outlook remains a company forecast.
