Its semiconductor division generated revenue of 147.1 trillion won and operating profit of 106.5 trillion won, Samsung says. The company highlights high-bandwidth memory and demand from AI servers.

In contrast, the division that includes smartphones and home appliances posted an operating loss of 800 billion won. Samsung expects demand for AI-related chips to continue outpacing supply in 2027; that is its market outlook rather than an established result.
