Scale AI announced an agreement with United Development Company on 28 October 2026 to establish a long-term base for its Qatar team at The Pearl in Doha.

Qatar News Agency locates the planned offices in UDC Tower and reports that the agreement was signed at Cityscape Qatar. The move concerns the company's physical presence and does not announce a new public-sector artificial intelligence contract.

Scale says the offices will cover nearly 2,000 square metres and its Doha team is approaching 100 employees. Those figures are supplied by the company. The expansion builds on its five-year partnership with the State of Qatar and the communications ministry, announced in 2025.
