Gaza Health Ministry reports ten dead received by hospitals over 48 hours
Gaza’s Health Ministry said on 7 November 2026 that hospitals had received ten dead and 22 injured people over the preceding 48 hours. The administrative tally, carried by several Palestinian outlets, has not been independently verified.

The count distinguishes six people recently killed, two who died of their wounds and two bodies recovered from rubble. It therefore does not mean ten deaths occurred within the last 24 hours alone.
The ministry puts the total since 7 October 2023 at 74,640 dead and 175,947 injured. Those figures remain attributed to the health authority: the articles consulted repeat the same bulletin and are not separate counts. They do not establish the circumstances of every death or injury.
Gaza: WAFA reports three killed in strike on Al-Shati camp
Three Palestinians were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City, on the evening of 5 November 2026, according to local sources cited by Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The agency places the strike near Martyrs Square, where a group of people was reportedly targeted. Its account does not specify the number injured or the victims’ identities.
Al-Shorouk repeats the same WAFA report; the two publications are not independent verification. The reviewed material does not establish the alleged military target or provide an Israeli response to this specific strike. The casualty figure remains attributed.
Gaza Health Ministry reports three deaths and 21 injuries in daily tally
Gaza’s Health Ministry reported three deaths and 21 injuries over the preceding 24 hours on 4 November 2026, according to Sawa news agency. The tally includes two new fatalities and one person who died from earlier wounds.

These are figures from the ministry’s statistical report relayed by the agency; they were not independently verified during this research. They do not all describe a single attack on 4 November.
Their rolling reporting period differs from the initial strike-by-strike tallies published the previous day. Adding them to those figures could count some victims twice. The sources reviewed do not allow each case to be linked to a specific attack.
Gaza: UN warns of health risks from uncollected waste
The UN warned on 3 November that only half of its partners' waste-collection vehicle fleet in Gaza was operational, increasing public health risks.

Spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric attributed the problem to Israeli restrictions on entry of engine oil and spare parts needed to keep vehicles running. Only some rubbish can consequently be collected.
The UN called for easier delivery of supplies and more humanitarian funding before winter. The warning describes declining collection capacity; it does not provide a new numerical tally of infections.
Gaza: at least four killed in new strikes, local sources tell AFP
Gaza health and security sources cited by AFP reported at least four people killed in Israeli strikes on 3 November, including a teenage girl and a member of Hamas's internal security service.

Nasser Hospital said it received three bodies following a strike west of Khan Yunis. In Gaza City, rescue services and Al-Shifa Hospital reported a teenage girl's death in a separate strike.
Israel's military told AFP it had targeted military operatives in the Khan Yunis area. Al Araby TV reports five deaths for the day: the totals have not been reconciled and remain provisional, without independent verification of the full toll.
Gaza City vehicle strike kills one, local sources say
An Israeli strike on a vehicle in Gaza City’s Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood killed one person on 2 November 2026, according to rescue services cited by AFP and WAFA’s local and medical sources. The Palestinian agency also reported five injuries.

WAFA places the attack near Al-Hidaya Mosque, by Al-Khor roundabout. AFP’s reporting, carried by outlets including Arabic-language Euronews, also describes a vehicle hit in Tel al-Hawa and one death.
Asked about the day’s attacks, Israel’s military told AFP it had targeted several militants. That general response does not identify the vehicle’s occupants. The toll for this strike remains attributed to local sources and is not a count of all casualties that day.
Gaza: hospitals and rescue services report eight killed in two strikes
Two Israeli strikes killed at least eight Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on 1 November 2026, according to hospital sources, rescue services and the Hamas-run Interior Ministry. Reports give five deaths in the Khan Younis area and three in Gaza City, including a child.

Nasser Hospital received the five bodies from the Khan Younis area, while Shifa Hospital reported three deaths in Gaza City, Associated Press reports. Reuters says the Interior Ministry described the five Khan Younis victims as police officers.
Israel's military says it targeted several militants in Khan Younis. That explanation does not verify every victim's identity. The casualty figures and characterisations remain attributed to their sources; they concern these two attacks and are not a comprehensive daily total.
Gaza: UN warns of shrinking space available to displaced people
The UN human rights office warned on 30 October 2026 that Palestinians were repeatedly being displaced into ever-smaller parts of Gaza. It linked the situation to expanding Israeli military positions and destruction of civilian infrastructure.

The office said it had documented westward expansion of deployment zones in Shujaiyeh and several central Gaza areas over the preceding two weeks. It also highlighted obstacles to families returning beyond the deployment boundary known as the yellow line.
The agency called for safe and dignified return and access to shelter materials before winter. These findings are attributed to the UN office; its warning is not a new court judgment.
Gaza: UN warns of heightened viral meningitis transmission risk
The UN warned on 29 October 2026 that overcrowding, damaged water networks and shortages of treatment were increasing the risk of viral meningitis transmission in Gaza.

The UN briefing, citing the World Health Organization, says acute respiratory infections remained the most commonly reported health condition in September's data.
The UN calls for restrictions on humanitarian supplies and specialized equipment to be lifted and for additional funding. The warning provides no updated case count to measure the scale of meningitis; it should be distinguished from separate reports of bacterial forms.
Gaza: rescue services report five killed in Israeli strikes
Gaza's civil defence and a local hospital reported five people killed in Israeli strikes on 28 October 2026, AFP reports. The reported attacks include Rafah and Khan Younis in the territory's south.

AFP's toll includes three people killed in Rafah, a wounded person who later died and one person killed in Khan Younis. Earlier, WAFA had reported three killed in a strike on an economy ministry facility in Rafah and a death in Khan Younis.
Asked by AFP, the Israeli military said it had targeted fighters and promised further details. That response does not identify the victims. The tolls remain attributed to local services and should not be added to earlier counts from the same day.
UN inquiry accuses Israel of West Bank extermination and continuing Gaza genocide
A UN-mandated independent international commission of inquiry published findings on 26 October 2026 accusing Israel of crimes against humanity in the occupied West Bank and continuing genocidal acts in Gaza despite the ceasefire. Israel rejects the findings, Reuters reports.
The commission identifies extermination, persecution, torture and sexual violence in the West Bank. It says military operations and settler violence form part of a widespread and systematic attack on Palestinian civilians.
Its report also examines violations attributed to the Palestinian Authority and inadequate investigations into abuses by its forces. These classifications and findings are the commission’s conclusions: the development reported here is the publication of an inquiry report, rather than the announcement of a criminal judgment.
Gaza: WFP cuts monthly assistance by 500,000 recipients
The World Food Programme said on 19 October 2026 that funding shortages are forcing cuts to monthly assistance in Gaza. About 500,000 people lose support while needs remain high.

WFP figures reported by Petra put the number of monthly recipients at 1.1 million, down from 1.6 million. The reduction reflects insufficient resources rather than a sufficient improvement in food conditions.
Speaking to the ABC after visiting Gaza, acting executive director Carl Skau warned about cuts as winter approaches. The ABC reports that some families receive one parcel instead of two, while meals in hard-to-reach areas shift from daily provision to every other day.
In a separate AFP interview carried by Arabic-language Euronews, WFP Palestine country director Shaun Hughes confirmed that half a million recipients were being removed. The programme also plans to reduce daily hot meals from 250,000 to 150,000.
A year after the ceasefire, strikes and obstacles persist
On 10 October 2026, Associated Press reports that the agreement reached a year earlier has not ended strikes or delivered the full promised transition.
The previous day, more than one hundred humanitarian and rights organizations denounce what they call a ceasefire in name only. That assessment is attributed to them. Reduced major operations and hostage releases do not mean an end to violence, aid restrictions or the civilian crisis.
Security Council authorizes a Gaza stabilization force
On 17 November 2025, the Security Council adopts Resolution 2803, backing the Gaza plan and authorizing an international stabilization force.
The text establishes an international framework for the transition envisaged after the ceasefire. Legal authorization alone does not establish that a force has deployed or planned institutions are functioning. Their implementation requires separate verification.
Hamas releases the last twenty living Israeli hostages held in Gaza
The last twenty living Israeli hostages held in Gaza are released on 13 October 2025 under the ceasefire agreement.
The International Committee of the Red Cross facilitates their handover to Israeli authorities and the transfer of released Palestinian detainees to Gaza and the West Bank. The release follows the ceasefire’s entry into force on 10 October. It does not resolve the return of all deceased hostages’ remains, which involves separate operations.
