TASR and Denník N report improvements particularly in services, industry and construction. Consumer confidence also improved, while confidence in trade fell.

The indicator stands 6.8 points above its level a year earlier but remains 5.3 points below its long-term average. It surveys respondents’ assessments and expectations: the rebound is not, by itself, a measure of output or gross domestic product.
