Riyadh announces 16 films for fifth European Film Festival

The European Union delegation to Saudi Arabia announced a fifth European Film Festival in Riyadh on 29 October 2026, featuring 16 films. Opening is scheduled for 2 November, followed by public admission on 3 November.

The event is organised with EU member-state embassies and support from the Saudi Film Commission. According to the announcement carried by SPA, all films will have Arabic and English subtitles.

The consulted calendars differ on the closing date: SPA lists public screenings from 3 to 10 November, while Destination KSA gives 11 November as the end date. The final programme should therefore be checked with the organiser.
