Third-quarter service revenue increased 35.7% to about 8.2 billion cedis. Quarterly profit after tax reached 2.62 billion cedis, up 42.6%, according to figures reported by Business Day and NewsGhana.

Demand for mobile data and digital financial services contributed to growth. NewsGhana notes that the figures combine Scancom and MobileMoney Fintech Limited, which became legally separate in March.

This combined presentation should therefore not be treated as consolidated accounts. Nine-month amounts must also be distinguished from figures for the third quarter alone.
