The Serbian, a seven-time winner of the tournament, has no first-round bye. Other opening matches include Musetti–Hurkacz and Paul–Rune.

Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz are in opposite halves of the draw. Potential later meetings depend on results in preceding rounds: the draw establishes opponents and possible paths, without determining who will advance.
