Petroci says it extinguished a burning leak at its Vridi gas facility in Abidjan at 09:46 on 31 October, after it began at 07:25, with no casualties.
The incident affected the return line of sphere 1 and triggered the company’s emergency plan.
Petroci says butane supplies continue normally. Material damage and causes remain under investigation; the operator’s assurances are not an independent audit.
