Singapore plans more than 6,000 homes in Toa Payoh West
HDB unveiled a plan on 31 October 2026 for more than 6,000 new homes in Toa Payoh West over the next decade. Amenities will be clustered around Caldecott MRT station.
The first project, Toa Payoh Hillside, is due to offer about 1,600 flats in the November sales exercise: 590 two-room Flexi flats, 580 four-room flats, 260 Community Care Apartments and about 230 public rental flats.
The eligibility age for Community Care Apartments will fall from 65 to 55 from that exercise, according to HDB. The master plan exhibition runs at HDB Hub until 2 November. This is a development programme; the announced homes have yet to be delivered.
