South Korea: October exports reach $115.28 billion
South Korean exports reached $115.28 billion in October 2026, up 93.7% from a year earlier, according to ministry figures released on 1 November. Imports rose 36% to $72.78 billion.
The trade balance consequently showed a $42.5 billion surplus. Semiconductor exports increased 259% year on year, compared with 34% for other products, according to the ministry.
Cumulative exports for January–October totalled $930 billion. The ministry expects to cross the $1 trillion annual threshold in November. That remains a target for a period just beginning, rather than an amount already reached.
