Apple Intelligence to launch in China in December with Qwen

Apple announced on 31 October 2026 that its first Apple Intelligence features in China would launch with iOS 27.3 in December. Developer testing is scheduled to start on 4 November.

Alibaba's Qwen will be accessible through selected Siri features, Writing Tools and Visual Intelligence. The initial release also includes live translation and photo editing.

The timetable covers compatible iPhones. The next-generation Siri AI unveiled in June is excluded; other platforms await the necessary approvals. The announcement therefore defines a launch scope, rather than establishing that these services are already available.
