Moroccan Sahara: Sopetrole announces 40-station Shell network

According to their tally reported by Biladi and Le Nouvelliste, the expansion helped create more than 850 local jobs. The network includes Laayoune, Dakhla and the Bir Gandouz-Guerguerat corridor.

Stations combine fuel, shops and automotive services. The figures describe growth over several years; they do not mean that 27 stations opened on 31 October. Available sources give neither a detailed opening schedule nor independent verification of the jobs tally.
