According to the notice carried by Bangladeshi media, daily LNG-terminal supply to the grid is expected to fall by 320 million cubic feet, from 920 million to 600 million. These volumes describe that supply component, not all gas produced or consumed nationally.

Petrobangla warns that consumers in different areas may experience lower pressure and expresses regret over the expected inconvenience. The maintenance is scheduled, not already completed. The selected sources do not detail the fault requiring intervention or specify pressure reductions by neighbourhood or factory.
