The announcement provides for awards to nine projects and teams. The statement carried by WAM identifies three categories: public services, internal processes and unconventional ideas. The Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation will oversee the programme.

Entrants are expected to propose solutions applicable to government work. Productivity gains remain objectives; no measured outcomes were presented at the launch.
