Moffett AI announces nearly RMB1 billion for inference chips
Shenzhen-based AI chip developer Moffett AI announced on 3 November 2026 that it had completed nearly RMB1 billion in Series C+ funding. It follows a previous round of a similar size about five months earlier.
Reports of the announcement say proceeds will support upgrades to sparse-computing inference chips, next-generation research and scientific and industry partnerships. Inference means running an already trained model; sparse computing aims to avoid unnecessary operations.
The company plans a new SP200 card before the end of 2026. That schedule remains an announcement, distinct from actual delivery.
The sources report Moffett AI’s stated funding completion, without independently establishing here the cash received, its valuation or the real gains of future products.
