The CNOM says it has completed registration formalities with the organising committee. Selection was based on proposals from Moroccan federations, subject to participation conditions and quotas set by the International Olympic Committee and international federations.

The sports include athletics, futsal, swimming, judo and sailing. The list reproduced by the Senegalese Press Agency comprises 24 men and 15 women, including ten players in the men’s futsal team.

The committee says it continues to provide medical, organisational and logistical support in coordination with the federations. These are preparations for Games that have yet to begin; no competition results are being announced at this stage.
