Bayer raises guidance despite quarterly net loss
Bayer raised its 2026 outlook for EBITDA before special items on 3 November to €9.8–10.3 billion on a currency-adjusted basis, from €9.6–10.1 billion.
The German group reported quarterly sales of €10.053 billion, up 4.1% as reported. EBITDA before special items rose 6.9% to €1.615 billion.
The operational improvement did not eliminate a €672 million net loss. Pharmaceuticals supported the guidance increase: the division now targets an annual adjusted EBITDA margin of 25–27%. These ranges remain company forecasts.
