CAF Awards: Hanane Aït El Haj makes ten-player women’s shortlist

The shortlist includes players from seven countries. Aït El Haj is joined by Malawi’s Tabitha and Temwa Chawinga, South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana and Zambia’s Barbra Banda, among others.

This is a nomination rather than an award victory. Bold Sports reports that the ceremony is scheduled for December 7 in Lagos. The shortlist marks a stage in the process of recognising the year’s performances.
