Saudi Arabia's food and drug authority said on 3 November that it had held its sixth Regulatory Research Day in Riyadh, featuring 160 scientific posters from its own teams and 25 organizations.

According to the SFDA, 120 posters came from its teams and 40 from external bodies, including universities, healthcare and research organizations. The edition introduces oral presentations and a competition recognizing ten research projects.

The stated aim is to support regulatory decisions and product safety. Participation figures alone do not demonstrate a measured improvement in inspections or public health.
