The International University of Rabat and Cisco inaugurated the EDGE Centre on 3 November 2026, according to reporting by Morocco World News and a university statement carried by Dpress.

The centre combines training, research and incubation in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. It is intended to offer certification pathways through Cisco Networking Academy and facilities for experimenting with digital solutions.

Officials quoted said its activities would serve students, faculty, researchers and businesses. The inauguration is a concrete step, but does not yet establish training outcomes or how many projects will receive support.
