UCB announces Cradle partnership for AI antibody design

According to the Belgian drugmaker, experiments are to feed programme-specific models to progressively improve the selected molecules. The announcement concerns a research method and development objectives; it does not present a newly validated treatment or a demonstrated patient benefit.

Briefs, reporting executives’ statements to Bloomberg, describes potential expansion of the partnership after evaluation. No financial amount is disclosed there. The collaboration’s actual effectiveness remains to be established through results.
