Cybastion announces 5 November inauguration for Abidjan cyber centre
Cybastion plans to inaugurate a regional cybersecurity centre equipped with Cisco technologies in Abidjan on 5 November 2026. Abidjan.net and Le Banco carried the announcement on 4 November.
Published descriptions provide for a security operations centre, an incident response team and professional training. The project targets the needs of Côte d’Ivoire and other African countries.
Ivorian and US representatives are expected at the ceremony. This remains a scheduled opening: the sources consulted do not yet establish commissioning or measure the site’s operational capabilities.
