Each old share is replaced by ten new ones. The nominal value falls from CFA500 to CFA50, while share capital remains CFA50 billion, in line with the company's notice.

The unit price must therefore be compared with a reference also divided by ten: a direct comparison with the old price would show an artificial fall. The split alone does not change an investor's proportionate ownership; the session's gain reflects market movement after adjustment.
