The announced sites are in Puncak Alam and Serendah in Selangor, and Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan. SoyaCincau reports that Google confirmed Elmina’s operation on the same day.

The company links the infrastructure to demand for digital services and artificial-intelligence computing. Its programme also includes training, water management and clean-energy initiatives, described in its announcement and by Malay-language newspaper Utusan.

The US$15 billion is an investment commitment for two future years. It is not spending already fully incurred; precise opening dates for the three new sites are not established by the consulted sources.
