The visit also reviewed progress on housing for fishing families. The regional programme covers Amgriou, Agti El Ghazi, Aftissat and Lakraa, with an announced total budget of 420 million dirhams targeting 1,933 families, including 711 in Amgriou.

The interventions include water, electricity and sanitation networks, roads and local facilities, alongside self-building and rehousing support. Launching the plant marks a construction stage; the reviewed sources give no commissioning date and do not establish completion of the entire programme.
