Group property sales totalled AED34.7 billion. The company put its property-sales revenue backlog at AED158.8 billion at the end of September, up 6% year on year.

Pre-tax profit differs from net profit attributable to owners, which The National reports at about AED13.28 billion for nine months. The backlog represents revenue to be recognised subsequently, rather than revenue already booked during the period.
