The statement highlights Chinese support for turning Gabon’s resources into drivers of development. It also calls for expanded exchanges between the armed forces and law enforcement and security agencies.

Gabon’s presidency says Oligui Nguema invited Premier Li Qiang to increase investment in mining, local processing, fisheries and training. Gabon Minutes reports six signed memorandums covering areas including geological resources, geosciences and industrial supply chains.

These documents set out cooperation commitments. The available sources do not establish a timetable for each project, funding actually disbursed or the start of production at new facilities.
