Bangladesh reports six more dengue deaths
Bangladesh’s health authorities reported six deaths and 2,010 new dengue hospital admissions on 3 November 2026 for the 24-hour period ending at 8am. The reported annual death toll stands at 439.
Five deaths were recorded in Dhaka division and one in Barishal, according to the Directorate General of Health Services. The report lists 5,876 patients still in hospital and 140,909 cumulative cases since the start of the year.
These figures describe official hospital surveillance. The English and Bengali accounts consulted draw on the same health report; they are not independent counts and do not measure all infections in the population.
