The announcement accompanied the opening of Dubai AI Festival and the presentation of a future building in the financial centre’s Zabeel District expansion. DIFC plans a 100,000-square-foot facility with laboratories for developing and testing applications.

Authorities say the campus has already attracted more than 500 companies and over Dh1 billion in investment. Those figures are their reported assessment; the 2030 targets and new building remain plans, distinct from jobs or facilities already delivered.
