Applied Computing presents Orbital 2.0 for energy operators in Abu Dhabi

Applied Computing presented Orbital 2.0 at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi on 3 November 2026. The British company describes the release as a plant-specific model designed to help engineers analyse and optimise operations.

According to its release, the software connects historical and live plant data with physical interactions between equipment. Announced features include dashboards created on request and automation of recurring tasks from user instructions.

The company says data and models remain within the customer’s environment and deployment can fall from weeks to days. These performance claims, and its claim of a world first, are not established by an independent evaluation in the sources reviewed.
