Led by the Ivorian actor and director Philippe Lacôte, the initiative plans a pan-African theatre and film school in Riviera Golf and an international festival. The festival's first edition is announced for late November or early December 2027.
The project's launch must be distinguished from the school's actual opening and the festival taking place. The ministerial agenda also scheduled a Thierry Frémaux masterclass on 26 October; the sources consulted here do not establish a timetable for admitting the school's first class.
