The festival is announced for 4–6 December in Podor and Ndioum. A preview is scheduled for 27 November at Dakar's Daniel-Sorano National Theatre.

Marva Group head Mamadou Diop has not disclosed the selected songs. Marva Music is the group's production company, and the group also plans technical support for the festival.

The project brings together Baaba Maal and Wally Seck, Thione Seck's son. The November and December events remain upcoming engagements.
