In Abidjan, Mohammed VI advocates economic cooperation among African countries

On 24 February 2014 in Abidjan, Mohammed VI addresses the opening of the Morocco–Côte d’Ivoire economic forum. He advocates African cooperation through economic partnerships and business involvement.

Côte d’Ivoire’s government dates his arrival to 23 February. The Ivorian employers’ intervention corroborates the forum’s holding in the king’s presence. The speech sets a South–South cooperation direction; agreement outcomes require separate follow-up.
