Fencing: Qatar’s Adham Al Deeb takes silver in Manama

Qatar’s Adham Al Deeb won individual foil silver at the Asian Junior Fencing Championships in Manama, according to Al-Arab on 30 October and QNA on 31 October 2026. He lost the final 15–14 to Hong Kong’s Lau Kinji Tsun Yin.

A single touch separated the finalists. Al-Arab also reports that Khaled Aref and Abdullah Ismail reached the quarter-finals alongside Al Deeb.

The newspaper says Qatar’s squad is due to contest the team foil events next. The medal is for the individual competition; it does not establish a team placing, for which the consulted reports provide no result.
