The ICRC says it helped release and transfer more than 300 people held in connection with the conflict. Its delegates were able to speak privately with most of those concerned before their release.
The OSCE welcomes the humanitarian development while calling for respect for the ceasefire. The operation does not resolve every detainee’s situation.
