Morocco-backed medical campaign serves Jaba, near Jerusalem

Around 150 residents of Jaba and neighbouring Bedouin communities received free healthcare on 1 November 2026 through the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, MAP reports in a dispatch carried by Hespress.

The campaign combines consultations, laboratory tests and medicines, with support from Akdital and in partnership with Astra Lab. Services include paediatrics, internal medicine and ophthalmology.

Interviewees describe lengthy, costly journeys to hospitals. The beneficiary count and services are those reported in the dispatch; its republication by several outlets does not constitute independent verification.
