Seychelles, Mauritius and Egypt retain the top three positions. Analyses of the report attribute Morocco’s rise to industrialisation, export diversification, infrastructure and macroeconomic stability.

The ranking examines 31 markets across several dimensions, including economic potential, market access, the investment climate and social and human development. It is a comparative assessment under that methodology, rather than a standalone measure of investment actually completed or of an individual project’s profitability.
