Egypt: world university finswimming races begin in Sharm el-Sheikh
Competition at the World University Finswimming Championship began in Sharm el-Sheikh on 28 October 2026, Saudi Press Agency reports. Around 200 athletes from 20 countries are announced.
Races take place at the sports city's Olympic swimming complex and are scheduled to continue on 29 October. Delegations' attendance extends beyond the two competition days and should be distinguished from the racing timetable.
The Egyptian university sports and diving and lifesaving federations organise the championship under the international university sports and underwater activities bodies. The sources consulted do not provide consolidated competition results.
