Revenue was QAR 8.1 billion, down 41% year on year, according to figures reported by CNBC Arabia. Sales volumes fell 53% to 3.81 million tonnes.

The group attributes the deterioration to lower volumes, reduced investment income and non-recurring accounting adjustments involving QAFAC. It also says it reduced production and suspended certain product lines amid the regional conflict. These explanations are the company’s; nine-month figures should not be confused with results for the third quarter alone.
