The launch ceremony took place in Essaouira on 28 October, attended by Transport Minister Abdessamad Kayouh and royal adviser André Azoulay. That inauguration precedes the announced commercial start.

Flights are scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays. The fare is described as fixed and subsidised under a public and regional partnership with the airline.

Published timetables allow 1 hour 20 minutes for the journey. The minister’s prospect of reducing it to under thirty minutes depends on future aircraft; it does not describe the currently scheduled service.
