Women’s rights groups seek clarity on Morocco’s CEDAW report
Women’s and human rights associations are asking interministerial human rights delegate Habib Belkouch to clarify the status of Morocco’s seventh CEDAW report, according to correspondence reported by Lakome2 and I3lam TV on 30 October 2026.
Signatories seek a submission date, if filed, or a completion timetable, alongside civil society consultation and access to the draft or submitted text.
The UN committee set July 2026 as the report’s due date in its 2022 observations. This request for information does not itself prove that no report has been filed. The sources examined do not establish an official response to the initiative.
