E.Leclerc announced on 31 October 2026 a 21-cent reduction, including tax, per litre of diesel at its 742 filling stations from 1 November. The retailer says it is passing on the benefit of access to strategic stocks.

The announced reduction represents €10.50 on a 50-litre fill. It is deducted from a price that continues to move with market rates, so the announcement does not set a single nationwide pump price across the network.

The retailer says it will retain none of the benefit in its margin. These details describe its commercial commitment, reported by AFP and Enerzine. The consulted sources do not establish whether every station has applied the reduction on the morning of 1 November.
