Domestic receipts rose 15.8% to 1,590.44 billion rupees. Tax on imports grew faster, by 42.2%, to 722.46 billion. The two components therefore grew at different rates: the overall increase does not by itself describe domestic consumption.

After refunds of 279.34 billion rupees, net receipts stood at 2,033.56 billion, up 25.6% year on year. Gross receipts for April–October reached about 14,775.69 billion, an increase of 13.2%. The figures remain provisional.
